Exercises Could Help Prevent Hip Fractures
"A computerized study of hip bones suggests that certain exercises could limit the steep increase in hip fracture risk that occurs as people grow old, British researchers report. The exercises would be aimed at strengthening the upper portion of the femur, the leg bone that fits into the hip, said doctors at the University of Cambridge." (reference)
